Highways England have provided us with details of forthcoming roadworks information

A14 eastbound between junction 18 to junction 20: Road Marking Renewals

Highways England plan to complete this work over 5 nights from Monday 15 February to Friday 19 February, on weeknights only, working between the hours of 8pm to 6am, subject to weather conditions.  They have closely liaised with the local authority to agree the most suitable diversion routes:

Diversion route

Motorway traffic will be diverted off the A14 at junction 13 to join the A605 northbound, A1(M) southbound to re-join the A14 at junction 22. (Diagram 1)

Non-motorway traffic will be diverted off the A14 at junction 13, via A605, Fletton Parkway, A1260, A15 to Norman Cross Roundabout, B1043 to join the A1 at Alconbury before rejoining the A14 at junction 22. (Diagram 2)
