A14 eastbound junctions 13 (Thrapston) to 21 (Brampton Hut)

National Highways have informed us that they will carrying out essential maintenance work to replace the drainage on the A14 eastbound between junctions 13 and 21.

 

They expect to complete this work over approximately 2 months from Thursday 29 November to Friday 4 February on weeknights only, between 8pm to 6am, subject to weather conditions. No work will be carried out over the Christmas / New Year period, between Tuesday 21 December to Tuesday 4 January 2022.

 

Closures and diversions

To complete the work safely, they will need to close the A14 eastbound and divert traffic. An occasional lane closure on the westbound carriageway may also be in place.

DIVERSION MAP

Motorway permitted traffic will be diverted off the A14 at junction 13 to join the A605 northbound, A1(M) southbound to re-join the A14 at junction 22.

 

Any traffic not permitted for motorway use will be diverted off the A14 at junction 13, via A605, Fletton Parkway, A1260, A15 to Norman Cross Roundabout, B1043 to join the A1 at Alconbury before re-joining the A14 at junction 22.
